1. What do you know about BPO industry?

BPO as the term says is outsourcing a part of business task to a company that specializes in handling that specific part of the business. Its service include – back office processing, customer support, medical transcription service technical support by way of voice, email and chat. The industry has been growing by leaps and bounds over the last two years. India us one of the most favored outsourcing destinations due to its skilled, educated English proficient and relatively cheaper workforce.

2. Why do you want to join this company?

It goes without saying that a job in an MNC like ABC is a dream for every job applicant. I am no different. My friend who has been working here for the past 2 months expressed his complete satisfaction of working at ABC(COMPANY NAME). I have a skill-set that meets the requirements of the job. Also am confident that I can put forth my best efforts and add value to organization. So it’s a mutual fit; the job fits my objectives and I fit the job well. That is the reason I want to join this company.

3. Describe yourself in 3 words?

If I were to describe myself in 3 words…I would say am goal-driven, a creative thinker and a person with passion to outclass.

4. Tell me about your family background?

We are three altogether. My father, my mother (who is a house wife), and me. We are based in New York.

5. What is/are your hobbies?

Listening to music and surfing net.

7. Why should we take you rather than another candidate? Why do you think you are suitable to this job? What makes you the best candidate for the job?

Firstly, I have good communicate skills and the enthusiasm to adapt myself to unusual work schedules. These are the prerequisites for this job. Also, I can work effectively even in times of crisis and never allow stress to get better of me. I maintain my cool and composure even when am pressurized and see that my work does not bear the brunt of the adverse situation. I believe these qualities are uncommon. There I think I should be considered over others for this post.

8. How would you describe the ideal job for you following graduation?

I look for job which gives me job satisfaction and pays me well.

9. What do you know about our company? Why do you want to join us?

This COMPANY ABC is predominantly into the business of providing end to end client and enterprise solutions. Its wide product range includes, desktops, notebooks, workstations, servers, network and storage device. In-fact, I have visited the website of dell and ..its service and support portfolio includes hardware support, customer integration, enterprise support, financial service and technical assistance. This is my knowledge about dell.

10. How do you work under-pressure?

I don’t shy away and I maintain my cool and composure and see to it that my work output is not compromised. Patience is one attribute of mine that helps me deal with unfavorable circumstances intelligently. As far as this job is concerned, it demands a lot of patience from the employee. I think my mindset is flexible enough to adapt to any demanding situations.

11. What criteria are you using to evaluate the company for which you hope to work?

I look for a company which holds good reputation and makes the workplace friendly to me; one that treats their employees as one of their greatest assets. Gives me opportunities to use my skills, to perform and be recognized.

13. If you were the interviewer, what qualifications would you look for?

Mainly for this job I would ln look for interpersonal and communication skills in a candidate. Also I would look for willingness and confident level to work in odd hours.

14. How do you determine or evaluate success/what is “success” for you?

Success to me is the fulfillment of dreams and aspirations and triumph of target.

15. In what way do you think you can make a contribution to our company?

I am a person who believes that each employee’s productivity contributes to the overall productivity of the organization. I will work with dedication and maintain good relationship with my fellow employee and my superiors. I will try to live up to my expectation of my superiors and perform my tasks with responsibility and proficiency. I strongly believe in mutual growth…mutual growth both for the company and myself.

16. Which is more important to you, the money or type of job?

In first place, I look for a job which puts my skills in use.. money and the type of the job are always complementary in helping me decide to go for the job or not. Also, I feel in a good company, money and job go hand in hand. A well paid job is naturally exigent, a challenging job is always well paid.

17. How do you handle a disgruntled customer who complains about the product/service in an impolite manner?

An ideal blend of intelligence, patience and compassion can help a customer service executive to handle a fuming customer. I would try to be extremely polite which should calm down the person’s impatience.
